Senior Machinist / Machinist Job Description 1.Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC milling machines (3-axis/5-axis), NC machines, and manual lathe/milling equipment. 2.Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam; proficiency in SolidWorks for interpreting 2D and 3D drawings is required. 3.Interpret technical engineering drawings and GD&T specifications, and use measuring instruments to ensure all parts meet strict quality standards. 4.Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues or alarms. 5.Senior-level duties: Lead and train junior machinists, manage section production schedules, and optimize machining processes to minimize downtime. Costing Assistant Job Description 1. Assist the Head of Costing in preparing detailed cost and estimates for new or customized machinery. 2. Analyse costing and selling prices for trading parts and fabrication components (e.g., CNC machining, lathe, laser cutting). 3. Regularly update existing costings based on fluctuating market prices for materials such as motors, bearings, pneumatic components and other related items. 4. Prepare and issue formal quotations to customers in a timely and accurate manner. 5. Perform accurate calculation of applicable service charges for completed work. 6. Maintain precise filing and organized documentation for all costing activities. Requirements 1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Business Studies, Accounting, or equivalent. 2. At least 1 year of working experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. 3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (PDF, AutoCAD 3D, or SolidWorks). 4. Familiarity with steel/metal fabrication processes (CNC, laser/plasma cutting). 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. 6. Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure. 7. Demonstrates flexibility by supporting other departments with tasks beyond core responsibilities when required. 8. Opportunities for professional development. Mechanical Designer / Drafter Job Description: 1. Collaborate with engineers to understand the specifications, requirements, and constraints of the project. 2. Create assembly drawings, exploded views, and detailed drawings for each component in the design. 3. Maintain organized records of all technical drawings, revisions, and design changes. 4. Identify design problems that may arise during the manufacturing or assembly process, propose solutions, and incorporate feedback into the drawings. 5. Stay updated with the latest technology advancements, continuously improve skills and knowledge. 6. Upgrade/improve the quality of the product in terms of design/modification. 7. Provide technical support to the Sales, Production, and Customer Service Departments. 8. Ability to prepare pressure vessel calculations for DOSH submission based on ASME code requirements is an added advantage. Job Requirement: 1. At least a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2. Proficiency in Solid Works and Auto CAD software. 3. Ability to read and interpret engineering sketches, diagrams, and specifications. 4. Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and machinery. 5. Self-starter, team player, well-organized, and highly motivated. 6. Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. 7. Willing to travel locally or outstation if necessary. 8.
